Maps

To use maps and navigation services such as voice guidance and real-time traffic information, you need to have the right licence.

The available services may vary, but most devices that come with Maps 3.0 pre-installed include an unlimited walking navigation licence for all regions (the City explorer licence).

To see your current licences, select Options > Shop & licenses > My licences.

Before purchasing a licence, you can check if navigation is supported in your country from the disclaimer. After a purchase, you can check if your navigation licence supports navigation in your country: open Maps and select Options > Shop & licences > My licences and choose your navigation licence using the scroll key or the information area at the top of the screen and select Licence details.

To buy a licence, select Options > Shop & licences > Shop and choose a licence using the scroll key or the information area at the top of the screen.

To see licences available in other regions, select Options > Shop & licences > Options > Shops for other regions.

When you pay for a service, you can either buy a licence with a fixed end date or subscribe to a licence that is automatically renewed every 30 days until you cancel it.

You can pay for the service through your phone bill or with a credit card. You can choose to have your device store your credit card number and expiry date. To remove this information, select Options > Delete personal data.

To cancel an automatically renewed licence, select Options > Shop & licences > My licences, scroll to the licence and select Options > Cancel subscription.
