Nokia Maps

Quick start

When you use Maps for the first time, you are prompted to define an internet access point to download map information, use A-GPS, or connect to a WLAN.

To see your current location on the map
Select Menu > Maps > My position.
marks your current or last known location on the map. If your position is not available, marks your last known position.

If only cell ID-based positioning is available, a red halo around the positioning icon indicates the general area you might be in. This estimate is usually more accurate in densely populated areas.

Move on the map
Use the scroll key or drag your finger across the screen (touch screen phones). By default, the map is oriented north.

View your current or last known location
Press 0 on the keypad or (touch screen)

If you browse to an area not covered by the maps stored on your device and you have an active data connection, new maps are automatically downloaded. Map coverage varies by country and region.
