Manage your contacts


Stay connected to the people around you. With Contacts you can keep your business and personal contacts organised. Save and update contact information such as the phone numbers, home addresses and e-mail addresses of your contacts. You can also create shortcuts on your home screen for the contacts you keep in touch with the most. Learn here how to do all that.


To open Contacts, select Menu > Contacts.


You can add a personal ringing tone or a thumbnail image to a contact. You can also create contact groups, which allow you to send text messages or e-mail to many recipients at the same time.


Add and remove contacts

You can save and update contact information, such as phone numbers, home addresses, or e-mail addresses of your contacts.

To add a new contact to the contact list:
  1. Go to Menu > Contacts and tap the New contact icon new_contact
  2. Tap a field to enter the information in the field. Fill in the fields that you want, and select Done.

To edit contact information, open a contact and select Options > Edit.

If you want to remove a contact, select a contact by tapping it lightly (do not open it) and select Options > Delete.

To delete a contact, select that contact and select Options To edit a contact, open the contact and select Options

Communication from favourite contacts widget

If you have some favourite contacts that you keep in touch with often, you can easily add a link to that contact to your home screen. Then contacting that person is easy and fast.

To add a contact to home screen, go to the home screen and tap a free space. Select Add content and then select Favourite contacts from the list. Four free places for your favourite contacts are now added to the screen.

To fill in the free place with contact information, tap the icon. Select the desired contact from the list and select OK. Contacts on the home screen are marked with a star in the contact list.

To contact the favourite person, just tap the icon on the screen and select what you want to do. You can, for example, make a call, send a message, send an e-mail or make a video call depending on the contact information for that person.

Send and receive business card

You can send your contacts, together with all their information, to a compatible device as a business card.

To send a business card:
  1. Select and open the desired contact. Make sure you are in detail view by selecting contact_detail_view in the top-right corner. Select Options > Send as business card.
  2. Choose the method you want to use for sending. Your device automatically creates the type of message you choose to use. (If you use Bluetooth, you are asked to create a Bluetooth connection with the compatible device.)
  3. Define the recipient / recipients and send the card.

To receive and save a business card:

When you receive a business card, open the message and select Options > Send as business card.

If you receive a business card via a multimedia message or e-mail, you have to open the business card attachment first.

Keep up with your friends’ news in Facebook

Facebook helps you connect and share with the people in your life. The Facebook widget brings your Facebook account straight to your home screen and you can have easy access to your status updates, friends’ news and messages.

To install the widget on the home screen:
  1. When in the home screen mode, select Options > Edit content.
  2. Select an available place on your Home screen by tapping it, and select Add content.
  3. From the widget list, select Facebook. From the screen, select Done.
