Set up your e-mail



You can handle your e-mail straight from your Nokia N97 device. Learn how to set up different types of e-mail accounts with the e-mail wizard, and you’ll be able to receive both your business e-mail and personal e-mail on your device.


Three steps to install the E-mail widget on your home screen

You can install the E-mail widget on your home screen to have quick access to your e-mails.

  1. When you are in the home screen mode, select Options > Edit content.
  2. Select an available place on your home screen by tapping it, and select Add content.
  3. From the widget list, select E-mail widget > Done.

Setting up e-mail

To set up your e-mail with the e-mail wizard:

  1. Select Menu > Messaging > Mailbox. Select Start.
      2. Note! You can also tap the e-mail icon on the home screen and select Settings if you have installed the e-mail widget (see Three steps to install the e-mail widget). Select Create account > Start.
  2. From the list select Use my e-mail address.
  3. Enter your e-mail address and select OK.
  4. Enter your password and select OK.

After the wizard has completed, you can adjust the settings by selecting Options > Settings.
