Your device has a full keyboard. To open the keyboard, push the touchscreen up. Slide the keyboard out. In all applications, the screen rotates automatically from portrait to landscape when you open the keyboard. The full keyboard works as a traditional keyboard.

There are several different ways which you can use to enter letters, numbers, and special characters on your device. You can either tap the characters with the stylus or your fingers with the virtual keyboards, or you can use handwriting to write characters directly onto the screen using the stylus as a pen.
Note that on the on-screen keyboard an arrow pointing to the left
represents the backspace, which is usually marked on mobile phones as C. In handwriting the backspace gesture is a short horizontal line – drawn from right to left.

Your device supports various features which help you to write messages efficiently and quickly.
You can define the settings for text input by selecting Options > Input options > Settings.
Change the writing language by selecting Options > Input options > Writing language.
It is possible to insert variations of letters, for example, letters with accents. For example, to insert á, press and hold the sym key, and simultaneously press the A key repeatedly, until á is displayed. Or, to insert ç, press and hold the sym key, and simultaneously press the C key repeatedly, until ç is displayed.
The order and availability of letters depends on the selected writing language.
