Take a picture

Use the camera in your device to take a picture or record a video. You can adjust the camera settings to match the environment with different scene modes – no matter whether you are taking a picture of your favourite scenery or a portrait of your friend.

Three steps to taking a picture:

1. Select Menu > Media > Camera.
2. Press Capture all the way down to take the picture.
3. Enter your e-mail address, and select Ok.
4. The display shows your picture immediately after you take it.
• You can adjust the time te picture is shown on your screen. In the Camera view, select Options > Settings > Image preview time, and select the preview time.

Your device supports an image capture resolution of 1200x1600 pixels.

Landscape and portrait picture settings

The camera takes the pictures in portrait mode by default, but when taking landscape pictures you can adjust the camera settings to turn the screen to landscape format. To change the format, select Options > Portrait mode or Landscape mode.

Avoid blurry pictures:

• Do not move the device before the picture is taken.
• Select Options > Self timer > 3 seconds to delay taking the image, and keep your hand steady when the picture is being taken.
