* We strongly recommend creating a back-up of your phone's content before updating the mobile device firmware. Earlier firmware version cannot be restored. Nokia cannot guarantee compatibility with third-party add-on applications that are not supported by Nokia. Before proceeding, please ensure that your Nokia device is covered by the CA warranty, in case you need to submit your device for repair, it must be covered by the CA warranty. The CA repair centers do not have the ability to repair devices that were not designed for the CA market.


Update using your device

Set your device to alert you when new software updates are available.

  1. Select Applications > SW Updates in your device's menu.
  2. Choose the software you'd like to update.
  3. Follow the instructions on the device display.

You may also be able to update individual applications even if there is no software update available for your device.

Update using your device

  1. Key *#0000# into your phone's home screen.
  2. Select Options > Check for updates.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts until your update is complete!
